Pharmacy Counter Assistant

SATURDAYS- IDEAL FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

**The Role**

As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll also have an attractive role and will open a new career pathway for yourself. You will become an important member of our pharmacy team; ensuring customers receive an excellent service when visiting our pharmacy. You will be the first point of call for patients walking into the pharmacy, be a trusted adviser helping and advising customers by making over the counter sales and provide personalised solutions. We will help you to progress into the dispensary area where you can do further study for pharmacy qualifications or help you move into a supervisory position. Holding a previous healthcare experience is preferred. You should have the confidence in good customer skills, ability to communicate and question effectively and be willing to be versatile in your role.

We have a Pharmacy team that works together to offer the best for our patients. We offer personalised service to the local population in Fordingbridge. We also work very closely with various health care professionals in the area such as GP surgeries, Drug and Alcohol Team, Care Homes and Out of Hours. Fordingbridge Pharmacy careers can offer you various opportunities to train via NPA (National Pharmacy Association).
