An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone looking to progress into a Production Planning environment. Full Training will be given alongside an Apprenticeship course.

**JOB PURPOSE**

To deliver a first class Production Plan to the Business, ensuring no downtime and pro-actively pursue all issues communication skills. that prevent effective and efficient scheduling of production by using strong verbal and written

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Daily download from Avante to AVP of new/completed jobs
- Upload of all new plan details from AVP to Avante
- Raise purchase orders on Avante system for outer cartons
- Liase with suppliers on all issues that affect supply of outer cartons.
- Liase with Outworkers for all foiled, externally glued work.
- Collate and publish Mill Lead Times to External/Internal sales
- Alter Avante system to reflect dates and timings of board supply.
- Ensure a good working relationship with all departments
- Record and publish daily/weekly daily KPI, WIP and Backlog.
- Report weekly/monthly KPI.
- Checking of raised Purchase Orders v supplier confirmations
- Closure of old/incomplete purchase orders
- Closure of old/incomplete works orders
- Booking in of supplier deliveries
- General duties
- Systems Housekeeping
- Work occasional weekends, primarily during peak periods and Customer Launch cycles.
- Develop a close working relationship with team in department
- Cover all planning roles for absence, holidays and training

- Able to effectively prioritise and adapt to variable workload.
- Punctual, presentable and with good attendance.
- Will be working in very fast paced environment so you must be experienced in dealing with pressure and be highly organised with an ability to multi-task and manage ones own time.
- Pro-active and can do attitude required.
- Works well in a team and on ones own.

**Hours of work - **Rotating days and night 12 hour shifts - 36 1/2 hours per week
