EHS Manager required for our client, a global chemical manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton. We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join their experienced team.

Managing all aspects of Environment, Health & Safety and Process Safety site wide, You will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance is maintained for all applicable legislation relating to Upper Tier COMAH chemical manufacturing facilities.

Duties & responsibilities Include:
Managing EHS Systems

Ensure the event reporting process is being followed correctly and all events are investigated and closed out appropriately

Lead/participate in complex root cause analysis

Monitor sitewide observation programme

Maintain the new electronic PTW system

Other EHS systems will include Permit Manager, Contractor Manager, MOC, Regulatory Auditor, Enterprise PHA etc.

Legal Compliance

Ensure ongoing legal compliance with all applicable legislation

Provide support to other departments to ensure compliance across various topics

Process Safety

Own all aspects of process safety on site

Support the Process Safety Engineer in MOC, PHA and COMAH activities

KPI’s, Data and Reporting

Complete all local and regional E, H & S KPI’s on a monthly basis

Ensure all data is being monitored and recorded to enable reporting to the regulators

Assist with Schedule 5 reporting when required

Other

Manage the sites EHSQ Annual Plan

Provide training to all employees site wide

Roll out safety initiatives and deliver tool box talks

Procedure review and revisions

Coordinating with Engineering on EHS CAPEX projects

Education and Experience required:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, use of electronic reporting systems and electronic PTW

We are looking for someone with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Degree qualified and ideally holding NEBOSH/IOSH or qualified by experience

Process Safety experience would be ideal as would experience of dealing with regulators

Experience managing EHS for an Upper Tier COMAH facility

Experience with complex permit to work systems

**Working Hours: 36 hours per week - days - Monday to Friday**

**Some On Duty, Evening Hours, Travel etc may be required on odd occasions**

**Salary Guide: £45k to £55k Depending on Experience
