Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced **Healthcare Assistant** to support a lovely lady (**10am-4pm) with shifts available 7 days a week** in her home in **Tavistock**.

It's vital that we have staff consistency and so **you will be required to pick up a minimum of 2 shifts per week**. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you can and would like to. Mon-Fri and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

She lives with her elder parents’ home, in the downstairs part of the property and has her own bedroom and bathroom. She has learning disabilities, epilepsy and suffers from seizures and anxiety. Therefore she will need someone who is confident with learning difficulties and have a calm approach to situations. She will also need support eating and drinking. She uses a wheelchair and likes to go out and about to break up the day.

Her care requires some advanced skills for which training will be provided by our exceptional nurse team who also provide close support.

This is an opportunity to do something on a **1-2-1 basis** to make a difference and really support her and her family.

**Shifts - 10am - 4pm available 7 days a week**

**On site parking.**

**Pay rates**:

- **£10.75 p/hr Monday-Friday**:

- **£14.00 p/hr Weekends**

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:You need to be an experienced carer. **It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs. You will get all the training you need to work on this package.** You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will include and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. Training is paid for.
