Head of Department of Earth, Ocean and Ecological

As Head of Department you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Department of Earth, Ocean and Ecological Sciences. You would report to the Dean of School and be a key member of the School Management Team, working closely with the Dean to provide leadership of the School. Within this role you will be required to contribute to the ongoing development and oversight of the School¿s five-year strategic plan.- Applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to conduct relevant, internationally excellent research and have relevant experience in higher education teaching. There will be opportunities to develop your research interests and work in interdisciplinary/cross-disciplinary ways with other staff within the University of Liverpool. In addition to teaching on campus, you should be willing to spend short periods away from Liverpool (up to two weeks) in order to contribute to field courses and/or other commitments related to the international profile of the University.
