Meddygfa'r Sarn are seeking to employ a forward-thinking Reception Supervisor.

This role is a full-time permanent post in line with the standard operation hours of the service which are 08:00-18:30 Monday
- Friday.

Whilst supervising the reception team you will work closely with the clinical team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to our patients.

Coordinate the activities of the reception team daily and provide training with support from the Management Team to new and existing staff where appropriate.
Ensure that the entry desk premises are kept tidy and clean at all times. -Ensure the maintenance of the front office and entrance foyer.
Responsible for checking the state of stationery and equipment in the reception area and if found to be malfunctioning, inform maintenance personnel.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Ensure records are kept properly so that they can be easily retrieved for review when needed by relevant personnel.
Ensure adequate staffing levels; organise weekly rotas in line with agreed policy liaising with the Management Team. Provide cover for any gaps in the rota due to leave/sickness absence.
Open the Dr’s/Nurses screens on the computer when necessary, keeping track of holidays/study days and locum cover, identifying any areas of concern.
Manage the various appointments, visitors and other books in line with agreed policies.
Continually assess and evaluate systems recommending changes and improvements as appropriate.
Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. We do this in partnership with our three local authorities and public, private and third sector colleagues, including our volunteers, through:
**Four main hospitals**: Bronglais General in Aberystwyth, Glangwili General in Carmarthen, Prince Philip in Llanelli and Withybush General in Haverfordwest;
**Seven community hospitals**: Amman Valley and Llandovery in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron, Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire Hospital Health and Social Care Resource Centre in Pembrokeshire;
48 general practices (five of which are managed practices), 47 dental practices (including three orthodontic), 99 community pharmacies, 44 general ophthalmic practices (43 providing Eye Health Examination Wales and 34 low vision services) and 17 domiciliary only providers and 11 health centres;
Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
