**Summary/Overview**:
**KBRA UK** (Kroll Bond Rating Agency) is seeking an experienced **CMBS credit analyst** to join our team in **London**. In this role you will be responsible for assigning new ratings and providing surveillance on CMBS transactions. You will actively contribute to the ratings process by preparing internal credit reports for rating committees, developing detailed cash flow analyses of commercial real estate ("CRE") properties, conducting property site visits throughout Europe, and writing detailed reports about the transaction.

You will closely follow developments surrounding rated transactions and associated sectors, assessing the potential impact on the transaction and maintaining contact with related parties. You may also be involved with research related to new products or jurisdictions and will be expected to publish research reports as topical credit issues arise to facilitate ongoing property cash flow and rating analyses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Five (5) or more years of demonstrated success in performing credit analysis on CRE loans; CMBS experience a plus.
- Experience with commercial real estate properties across multiple jurisdictions throughout Europe.
- Due diligence and financial modelling.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as work closely with partners in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Prepare credit submissions and present transactions to rating committees.
- Publish individual transactions reports as well as market commentary on special topics.
- Monitor and update ratings on existing transactions.
- Partner in originator/servicer evaluations, loan pool analysis, modelling and analysis of bond structure, and review of legal structure and documentation.
- Liaise with clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a propensity to quality check your own work.
- Conduct property site visits throughout Europe averaging several days per month.
- Willing and able to travel freely around the EU and UK.
- Comfortable in a multinational environment; ability to speak multiple languages a plus.
- Flexible with regards to participating in meetings at non-standard hours to facilitate transaction deadlines and work with colleagues across multiple offices.
