**Commercial Insurance Account Executive - Reading**

**So, what does the role of a Commercial Account Executive here involve?**

This role will be made for you if you love fostering relationships and helping clients find the right Insurance products to fit their needs. This role will work with commercial clients in the Health, Beauty and Aesthetics industry so a keen interest in this market is preferred.

Our Account Executives are excellent at quoting and placing cover when instructed, inviting and binding renewals, dealing with mid-term adjustments, broking client requirements within the insurance market and providing assistance in all areas for your Team Manager, when appropriate.

You will work independently and manage client requirements within the scope of a busy client book that spans all business sectors and classes of commercial insurance. This will include client contact and visits.

**What you will do**

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:

- Support the Team Manager in all areas with every aspect of managing the client account;
- Attend Client visits with Team Manager (or independently) where required;
- Be the first point of contact for clients, dealing with day to day queries;
- Control your own diary system, ensuring all items are followed up by the due dates, particularly in relation to outstanding documentation from clients or insurers, premium payments and continuation cover;
- Assist, when required, with the Accounts function of the business in carrying out credit control with relevant customers. To be responsible for ensuring the collection of monies from clients within the Company’s agreed credit period, whilst maintaining good relationships with those clients and insurers;
- Check thoroughly all client documentation before dispatch, ensuring queries are raised and amendments completed;
**What experience does our Commercial Account Executive need?**

It’s essential that you have some insurance experience gained ideally in a broking environment within commercial lines as you will be offering a complete commercial lines experience to existing customers and ideally have a good working knowledge of Acturis. It would be a bonus if you have any relevant qualifications, although we offer plenty of opportunity to gain these once you join us.

This can be a hybrid working role after probation is passed with 2 days working from home if business/team management permits but being out and about seeing clients is also expected. It is a Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm role.
