Parent Infant Therapist

Essex Parent Infant Mental Health Service - Together With Baby - is recruiting a full time Parent Infant Therapist to join the team to support families living in Thurrock ,Essex. Together With Baby is supporting the new Start for Life program and the delivery of the work with families will be through the Family Hubs in Thurrock (Aveley, Stifford and Tilbury areas).
This will be 1wte 18 month FTC with EPUT. The postholder will offer highly specialised assessment and intervention to parents and their infants, offering support and guidance to improving and strengthening the Parent Infant relationship.
Transition to Parenthood can be a challenging time and for some parents this brings change and difficulty impacting on the emerging relationship between them. The Start for Life program aims to bring together early years services, adult mental health services, physical health services as well as CVS and voluntary organisations to provide holistic care to parents and their infants and to improve a range of health, wellbeing and education outcomes for children aged 0-19 / to 25 with SEND & parents / carers.
