**Role: Kitchen Assistant**

**Kitchen Assistant duties and responsibilities**
- W_e need a Kitchen Assistant for a school in Walthamstow.

It would be great to have someone with experience in serving food / kitchen porter level to assist the team.

Kitchen Assistants perform a range of duties around the kitchen, including:

- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans

You will need to have an understanding of Food Hygiene and be able to provide own uniform.

You will need to have a valid child and adult DBS

Working hours: Monday - Friday 10:00am-02:00pm

Pay rate: £12.29 - £13.66 per hour - same as a cleaner.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £12.29-£13.66 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- DBS (preferred)

Work Location: One location
