**About The Role**

Working as part of the head office finance function the Accounts Payable Clerk role plays an important role in processing payments and purchase invoices in accordance with Company policy as well as being a trusted point of contact for any queries.

**Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and Input invoices on to the system accurately and efficiently
- Ensure that supplier invoices are matched and authorised for payment in a timely manner and compliant manner
- Review of key accounts through regular Monthly Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Escalate outstanding payment queries to the Accounts Payable Supervisor
- Ensure you build and maintain sound and robust relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders such as branch and department managers

**What We’re Looking For
- Accounts payable experience desired
- Good attention to detail
- Experienced in working with Excel
- Confident communicator
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes
- AAT qualified or studying towards this would be desirable
- Flexible approach to working hours especially at month/year end
