We are recruiting an experienced Technical Support person to join a successful company based in the Nottingham area.

The main purpose of the Technical Support role will be to support effective take-up and services (including hardware, software, and data services) from strategic and high worth clients whilst providing an effective customer experience through deployment and use of products/services.

Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Support:

- Supporting Sales and Product Management on all aspects of products including - functions, features, and deployment monitoring
- Manage inbound and technical queries from internal and external clients.
- Full project delivery oversight supporting direct clients and third-party contractors.
- Assist with hardware return process, diagnostics, referrals/recommendations.
- Manage training function through use of supporting documentation, manuals, and new product literature.
- Degree or time served experience in Engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of electronics.
- Technical knowledge in IoT and a good understanding of sensor hardware, software, data, interface protocols, wireless and network products, radio frequency and installation standards.
- Familiar with RF protocols such as ZigBee, LoRaWaN, EnOcean and IoT platforms such as IBM Watson, Azure IoT and AWS IoT Core.
- Confident and clear communicator by phone and in writing.
- Able to self-plan and deliver strategic and tactical support and pre and post installation.
- Previous experience supporting in a customer or service management role.
