We are seeking a Director, Global Digital Sales to drive customer and revenue growth for Cytiva's digital product portfolio. You will shape, lead, and execute the commercial elements of Cytiva's global digital strategy, including annual revenue planning, sales funnel management, recruiting of a global digital sales team, coaching and training sales staff, defining compensation plans and collaborating with adjacent business functions to deliver an exceptional customer experience from first contact to expanding adoption of Cytiva solutions.
What you'll do
Revenue
Accountable for the customer and revenue growth for Cytiva Automation, Digital and Learning products with an emphasis on new customer development. Cytiva offerings range from modeling & simulation software in process development, to advanced process control systems in manufacturing, to operational equipment efficiency and adaptive plant solutions.
Develop inbound and outbound commercial strategies including sales execution plans and account segmentation strategies for the opco to team achieves business goals.
Define sales targets and incentive plans, as well as profitability goals and strategic priorities.
Define sales funnel KPIs, track performance to plan, and deliver on sales funnel KPIs via proactive and corrective actions as necessary.
Adopt and adapt Danaher Business System tools to deliver repeatable excellence and continuous improvement in sales operations.
Work hand-in-hand with Product Marketing and Customer Success to identify, land and expand customers, including contributions to sales collateral, product positioning, and customer experience design.
Communicate to Cytiva business unit leaders the need to develop new products, services and solutions based on trends observed in the marketplace.
Team
Recruit and develop an extraordinary team of enterprise digital sales specialists.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate the Digital Sales team and collaborating account management and field marketing teams in the global Cytiva commercial organization.
Coach the Digital Sales team to deliver on sales targets while setting the foundations for long-term enterprise customer relationships.
Strategic Development
Serve as a key stakeholder in shaping the digital strategy by capturing, synthesizing and communicating Voice of Customer feedback to our Product team.
Build relationships with senior leaders and executives at customers to support account development
Collaborate closely with supporting Cytiva business functions (software, hardware, consumables, data, marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing, supply chain) and Cytiva business units to sell packaged solutions
Travel as needed domestically and internationally ~ 30-75%
Who you are
Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise software/SaaS, automation & controls solutions sales or related commercial function.
Degree in a technical discipline, paired with extensive commercial experience in life sciences/biologics.
Previously accountable for leading and managing an enterprise digital or software sales team.
Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills, including demonstrated success in developing and delivering on annual revenue plans
Experienced working in large, complex global organizations.
Organized, driven, accountable, sweats the details.
Outstanding and proactive communicator internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, inspire, and develop a team.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to negotiate and close multi-stakeholder deals.
Experienced in software licensing, subscriptions, order processes, and contractual agreements.
Experienced with enterprise procurement personalities and processes.
Ability to energize, develop, build rapport, collaboration, and influence at all levels within an organization.
