Associate Director - Corporate Sustainability Consulting

Location: London

**Responsibilities**:

- Be part of the leadership cohort of our global sustainability services and consulting team which caters to global capital markets and corporate clients, and assume responsibility for business growth
- Conceptualize and develop a broad suite of corporate consulting offerings across the Americas, EMEA and Asia (e.g. policy advisory, gap analysis, materiality assessment, strategic implementation plan, emission efficiency measures, net zero goal setting,TCFD reporting, etc.)
- Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory developments, analyze their implications, and develop differentiated services and consulting offerings that could be strategically or tactically converted into large revenue streams
- Partner with the wider sustainability team, business development and other partner teams for strategic revenue development opportunities
- Drive conversations with prospective clients to understand their strategic objectives and make a compelling case for them to consider us as their services and consulting partner. Identify and leverage value statements that connect with clients
- Leverage thought leadership and foresight to help clients shape their buying and consultant evaluation criteria. Lead the submission of proposal and RFP responses by collaborating across internal teams to leverage the best possible insights for the proposedsolution
- Support franchise building efforts by planning and executing campaigns, webinars, panel discussions, and unique industry insights and views
- Manage client relationships and ensure we are well-positioned to be their partner of choice across medium
- and long-term horizons
- Oversee the delivery of services and consulting engagements, across pilots and strategic projects
- Manage revenue-matched expansion of delivery team through a combination of external hires and cross-training of hand-picked internal resources

Must-have requirements:

- Proven track-record with global consulting engagements or hands-on experience of implementing sustainability agenda. Hands-on corporate sustainability consulting based experience with customers will be preferred
- Well-versed with global trends in sustainability - emerging industry practices, regulatory requirements, on-ground trends and market direction
- Good understanding of the corporate sustainability consulting value chain and market demand
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- Penchant for thought leadership
- Academic qualifications in sustainability would be an advantage but not a mandatory requirement
- Experienced in managing teams spread across multiple locations
