Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced **Female Healthcare Assistant** to support a woman with Sanfilippo Syndrome and heart problems. She lives at home with her mum, dad, and siblings in Newton Abbot. She is non-verbal and requires assistance with her balance and mobility which often requires 2 carers.

She is very sociable and enjoys a lively environment with the attention of her carers. She likes to go out and explore the local area, often attending the zoo when the weather is permitting or head out shopping with a carer. Activities such as sensory play, watching TV and listening to music with her carer are a big hit.

**You will be working 2:1**

**You need to be an experienced carer.** It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. **Training is paid for.**

**Pay Rates**:

- **£12.75 p/hr Monday - Friday**:

- **£15.30 p/hr Saturday - Sunday**:

- **£18.30 p/hr Bank Holidays**
- We offer the option to be paid _**Weekly **_or _**Monthly**_. Speak to one of our team to find out more._

**Shifts**:
**9am - 8pm, 2-3 Days Per Week Available, Days TBC**

It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

**Full mileage paid from home to this location in NEWTON ABBOT up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.**
