Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Senior Practitioner for the Adoption Team.

**You will need to be**:

- SWE registered
- Eligible to work in the UK

The Adoption Team have a vacancy for an experienced childcare social worker or senior practitioner to join the team. This team covers
- the recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters (this includes delivering information events and preparing to adopt training)
- family finding for children with a plan for adoption, including holding CLA cases once the child has been placed with prospective adopters
- family finding for prospective adopters and supporting them once a child is placed
- supporting birth parents with understanding adoption and what this means for them and their child
- undertaking assessment of need for post adoption and SGO cases
- identifying/commissioning appropriate post order support services
- supporting adopted adults to access their birth records
- non-agency and stepparent adoption assessments and reports to court
- developing partnership working with other LA's and adoption agencies within Adopt East You will need to be 3 years post qualified and have statutory childcare and adoption experience. You will need to have good writing, communication and organisation skills.
