Date Posted: 04/01/2023ACS International Schools are recruiting a Digital Innovation Lead to work with the Upper School team at ACS Egham. The Digital Innovation Lead will be required to drive technology Innovation and ideas across the community to inspire the world’s next global thinkers and doers. To lead the use of Innovative Digital technologies and support our students and staff in integrating Technology to support their learning. To be a primary facilitator of student learning and encouraging our students to achieve their potential, aligned with ACS’s values and the IB Learner Profile.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Model and encourage a school culture aligned with the ACS values and the IB Learner profile
- Work Collaboratively with classroom Teachers, Students and Specialists to directly support the Integration of technology to support Student learning
- Develop an environment in which students are challenged and supported so as to maintain their enthusiasm for learning
- Working with Middle and High School students and teachers in designing and integrating Innovative technology’s into existing curriculum units, aligned with the ISTE standards
- Support Student skills development in relation to Approaches to learning (ATL’s) with a sustained and specific focus on research, enquiry and creativity
- To lead school-wide technology initiatives with staff, students and parents and to coordinate online safety throughout the school.
- Responsible for supporting the creation of digital learning objects such as videos, tutorials and infographics for use in-person, online, and in blended environments as well as providing support to colleagues in the creation and implementation of these objects
- To develop and offer divisional innovative technology training for students and staff
- Work actively to create an environment that inspires our school community in the area of innovation, with a strong emphasis on support to students, teachers and Parents
- Leads the technology orientation for new students, staff and parents
- To drive innovation and next steps of learning through Managebac.
- Leads a group of digital leaders (students) in Upper School
- Participates in workshops, meetings and performs other duties as required by the Digital Teaching and Learning Coordinator and Senior Leadership Team Online Safety Coordinator
- Lead the whole school approach to online safety and embed online safety in all aspects of school life
- Coordinate with the Designated Safeguarding Lead on issues that arise
- Educating students, parents and staff on the appropriate use of technology in online e-safety and social media

**Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Have a solutions-oriented mindset, expertise in systems thinking, curriculum development and design and a commitment to a collegial school culture
- Digital Innovation Lead is an inherently creative, collaborative and innovative educator
- Outstanding Interpersonal Skills with the ability to build positive collegial relationships
- Ability to communicate and work effectively and productively with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Flexible and Adaptable approach along with being a team player
- Constantly improve your own knowledge and skills as an educator and a leader through professional dialogue, collaboration and professional development
- Apple Teacher & Google Apps for Education
- Use of iOS Mac devices
- Experience training students and teachers to integrate digital technology in their learning
- Working with students Primary to Secondary
- Ability to differentiate instruction to suit a variety of learning styles and levels
- Experience with 1:1 digital learning and emerging technologies

**Desirable Experience**:

- IB Experience
- Coding Skills & STEAM Experience
- Demonstrated excellence in use of technology and leading change
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience relevant to this role, ideally in an International School
- Master’s degree or Computing field
- Google Certified Trainer or Innovator, and/or Apple Distinguished Educator
- Experience with Managebac

**Working hours**: Monday
- Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday based at ACS Egham
