**Job Title**:Tender Administrator

**Job Location**: Birchwood, Warrington

**Shift**: Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM

**SALARY: £30 - 35k per annum**

**The Role**:
This is a new role within the business and will evolve to meet the needs of the business.

**Duties would include but would not be limited to**
- Booking in tenders.
- Identifying the requirements of the tender returns.
- Arranging the tender launch meetings
- Discussing with the bid team, requirements of the tender deliverables and assisting with the written submission.
- Collation of the various elements of the bid and preparation of the proposal document for submission.
- Assist the business development manager with pre-qualification questionaries.
- Developing/maintenance of information database to assist with proposal documents.

From time to time as and when required, assistance/holiday cover will be required to carry out general preconstruction administration duties, which would involve.

**Updating CV’s for bid submissions**
- Printing drawings
- Chasing subcontractors for tender quotations

**Skills and experience**
- Experience working with a main contractor in a pre-construction environment or consultancy.
- Knowledge and understanding of the various procurement types.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects with time-critical deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Birchwood, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
