Description:
My client are a global leader in their field of manufacturing and distribution of safety equipment and are currently looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to come on-board due to an increase in workload.

Your role will be to prepare cargo for transportation, from filling out shipping documentation to checking filled pallets to ensuring accurate delivery details

Duties include:

Keeping shipping records up-to-date and accurate,
- Monitoring shipments throughout the entire process
- Liaising with suppliers and supply agents in respect of their loading requirements.
- Deal with freight forwarders for updates.
- Making freight bookings
- Assisting with checking supplier invoices and maintaining payment log to ensure timely payments to suppliers as per contract.

Must haves:

Export experience
- Experience in using commodity codes
