**About us**
NST Travel Group part of the PGL Group of companies, provides a market leading domestic and international school trip booking service to Schools and Academies across the UK and Ireland.
**The Role**:
As Contract Executive, you will work with our Contracting and Procurement Team to deliver the contracting strategy. You will oversee particular contracting services, ensuring contracts are in place with travel industry suppliers and agents in these areas for visits, and other ancillary 'in resort' services. This function is mostly responsible for visit/attraction and restaurant suppliers contracting, although it may include some destination full contracting from time to time.
**A Typical Day**
A typical day normally includes;
- Contracting new and existing visits and restaurants - negotiate competitive rates, special offers, exclusive deals, contractual terms and rebates.
- Monitor demand, booking volume and year-on-year rate increases for contracted visits and restaurants.
- Liaise with Product, Sales and Operations on potential and new visit/restaurant opportunities.
- Follow sign off H&S process for introduction of new contracted visits and restaurants.
- Manage supplier relationships throughout the periods of the contracts, ensuring contracting deadlines are met
- Maintain contracted visit and restaurant system information, ensuring details are accurate and up to date
- Liaise with key stakeholders across the business to ensure the swift resolution of supplier related issues for visits and restaurants.
- Ensure prompt replies to internal and external queries regarding contracted visits and restaurants.
- Providing the marketing team with visit/restaurant imagery and description content
**You should also have the following skills/experience**
The contracts executive must have financial and commercial awareness, strong written and verbal communication skills and be a competent user of MS products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc). Experience of negotiating contracts is essential, with existing and new suppliers, preferably gained within the Travel Industry. Experience of coordinating a range of contracts and documentation with good accuracy and attention to detail (numerical and non-numerical data).
