Health Visiting Team Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Visiting Team Assistants (HVTAs) to join the Health Visiting Team in Hounslow’s 0-19 Service.
These are posts to work in our Health Visiting Admin Hub, with a great team of experienced HVTAs. The post holders will need to have great administration skills, a pleasant telephone manner, high attention to details and be confident in the use of IT systems to maintain accurate information. Full training will be given.
Our team works with families in one of the most diverse boroughs in London to give children the best possible start in life by providing the most up-to-date evidence based support.
provide a comprehensive administrative support to all professionals within the Hounslow Health Visiting Team
answer all telephone calls, directing calls to appropriate extensions, deal with telephone enquiries and record messages when required
ensure the smooth organisation of clinic appointments
carry out photocopying, scanning/uploading duties as required
have good IT skills
maintain electronic patient health records, data inputting all referrals, communications and appointments on SystmOne according to Trust Procedure and contribute to Trust data collection via SystmOne
ensure that patient demographic details are up to date and accurate
manage patients wait lists and ensure prompt communication with clients and book appointments appropriately to achieve service KPI's.
participate in training and development as required and to ensure that resources are used to full potential.
Take & format meetings transcription.
order supplies and manage stock for clinical & non-clinical team
work alongside and support the team to help implement new systems and procedures within the service
work in co-operation with all staff within the Trust to encourage teamwork to support and help each other to maintain a smooth running, professional service to the public and professional staff.
