PURPOSE OF ROLE:
This position is responsible for support to Payroll & MI Manager on processes and compliance within ii procedures and UK legislation for payroll and benefits administration. The position will also support the Payroll & MI Manager with a payroll migration project.

Also working under the guidance of the Payroll & MI Manager to collate data from the HR & Payroll databases to support Management Information, design and produce reports for business wide purposes

**Requirements**:
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

- Provide support to Payroll & MI Manager on payroll to ensure processed accurately, effectively and on time each month.
- Involvement and support in projects relating systems migration or integration projects as required. Support Payroll & MI Manager in full project life cycle including data capture mapping templates, configuration requirements, gap analysis, testing, assessments, documentation and transition to BAU operations.
- Support on other management information requirements.
- Provide support for HMRC requirements on Income Tax and National Insurance year-end statutory returns as required.
- Adhere to payroll controls, processes, legal and HMRC regulatory requirements ensuring issues, risks or violations are escalated to the Payroll & MI Manager.
- Use of ADP iHCM (payroll system) for payroll processing.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues and escalate to Payroll & MI Manager on complex matters.
- Supporting on other payroll related processes, such as benefits and pension auto-enrolment administration.
- Support with verifying data against payroll reports before committing payroll for sign off on monthly payroll data entry.
- Support in production, monitoring and distribution of payroll related reports for Finance and other stakeholders when required.
- Continual review of existing payroll processes and recommend/implement improvements as required.
- Support Payroll & MI Manager on monthly management information requirements.
- Maintain integrity of MI process to ensure all reporting is timely and accurate.
- Prioritisation of monthly and ad hoc management information to satisfy business wide needs.
- Cover for the Payroll and MI Manager and wider HRSS team when required to support absence and holidays.

Skills and Experience required
- Knowledge of Payroll systems, specifically ADP iHCM desirable.
- Experience in Payroll System migration/ integration/ upgrade projects desirable. This includes data capture mapping templates, configuration requirements, gap analysis, testing, assessments, documentation and transition to BAU operations.
- Advanced excel and reporting skills
- Project and change management experience.
- Knowledge of design and production of dashboards.
- Understanding of working in a Professional Payroll Function
- Understand Payroll processes and procedures
- Knowledge of UK Tax Legislation and NICs
- Knowledge of Payroll Accounting
- Financial Management Reporting experience
- Knowledge of Salary Sacrifice Employee Benefits
- Understand Auto Enrolment Pensions
- Know the Financial Services Sector desirable
- Understand the regulatory environment and associated risks that require managing
