This will be a varied role working in a family business including both welding and mechanical work. Mechanical knowledge is essential as well as MIG and TIG. This will be a varied role in both mechanical and welding.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and weld metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications using MIG and TIG
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Work with sheet metal to create precise and accurate structures
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet the required standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

**Skills**:

- Proficient in welding techniques, including stick welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Familiarity with sheet metal work and fabrication methods
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and dimensions
- Attention to detail for precise assembly and welding work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Note: Prior experience as a fabricator/welder is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
