**Cook/Kitchen Team Member | Catering and Hospitality | Macclesfield | Full-time | Permanent | 37.5 hrs per week | £22,386 per annum basic + enhancements on weekends**

Spire Regency Hospital, located in Macclesfield are looking for a Chef to join our small and friendly catering team on a full time and permanent basis.

**Working hours**:_5 days a week - varied shifts between 7 am and 7 pm Monday through Sunday. Enhancement available for weekend work. _

**_Contract type: _**_Permanent _

Our catering team is responsible for providing exceptional food quality for our patients and staff based on our central corporate menu.
- Reporting to the Head Chef your role will involve food preparation through to the coking of a range of meals using fresh ingredients and delivery of food and beverage service to patients, consultants and staff. _

**Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Menu planning
- Service of meals to patients
- Service of meals to staff and visitors
- Observation of food hygiene/Health & Safety and COSHH regulations and policy

**Who we’re looking for**
- A high level of social skills and a positive approach to customer care are essential elements of the job
- A degree of human understanding is essential in order to meet the needs of individual patients who may have specific dietary needs or preferences.
- Experience in corporate catering / School meals would be of benefit but not a necessity as full training will be provided
