**Human Resources Officer - Temporary 6 months**
CLCA Company Ltd is a healthcare recruitment agency specialising in the provision of noncomplex and complex care within the domiciliary environment across Shropshire, Powys, and the West Midlands. An opening has arisen for the above role located at our head office in Condover, Shropshire. This is initially a 6-month placement with an opportunity for the role to become permanent.
The role will lead the HR Function in providing a comprehensive HR administration service relating to the employment lifecycle and will oversee the HR team.
The duties will include recruitment and selection, legal compliance, onboarding and exiting staff, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and welfare matters, contracts of employment (full time, part time, sponsored and bank staff/hourly paid staff), pay framework changes, adhering to and updating policy and procedure, implementing legislative changes, absence management, liaising with the legal team, project work, producing HR reports, tracking data, providing advice and guidance to managers and staff.
Criteria:
- CIPD qualified or equivalent certification.
- Experience leading generalist HR functions at a similar role level.
- Previous experience working within Health and Social care would be desirable.
- Good computer knowledge including dedicated HR database.
- Communication and interpersonal skills including customer care.
- Organisational and planning skills.
- Use of Initiative and ability to problem solve.
- Able to handle challenging situations.
- Able to adjust to operational changes.
Package
- Salary dependent upon qualification level and experience.
- Full time hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Office based role with car parking facilities.
