We are professional, customer-centric and social.

- To take sole responsibility for the community kitchen space and oversee work of any kitchen volunteers (if there are any).
- Prepare hot and cold meals to order.
- Creating home baked cakes regularly to be sold in the community café.
- Lay out food and counter display so they look attractive & inviting
- Ensure all food is stored safely and at the correct legal temperatures.
- Serve all customers in a polite timely and friendly manner
- Use of tills and cash handling.
- To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cafe to promote a safe working environment, completing all the required checklists and paperwork on a daily basis.
- THIS IS A 7 WEEK CONTRACT - WORKING DAYS ARE MONDAY, WEDENSDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY 9:30am-3:30pm.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 weeks

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
