**A great opportunity within a small Manufacturing business to lead on all purchasing and supply chain activity**

We are partnering with a small but rapidly growing Manufacturing business for an experienced Buyer to manage the company’s material and supplier purchasing.

This is a stand alone role, reporting into the Operations Manager, to oversee Purchasing of stock, Stock Control & Inventory and Supply Chain activities across a supply base of c.50 suppliers and raw material spend.

You will work closely with the sales team and operations to ensure that items are available and stock holding is kept at a suitable level aligned to demand and forecasting ahead of spikes in demand and requirements.

This a great opportunity within a small but growing business, growing 50% YoY, to help develop the purchasing process and identify opportunities to support the business through this growth period.

We are looking for someone with a purchasing background, understands the supply chain side and has a well organised approach to their work. Ensuring that goods/materials are purchased in alignment to the business needs, monthly reporting and forecasting for inventory to ensure lead times are kept to a minimum.

Our client is based south of Chichester and you will be required to be office based, so must be within commutable distance.
