A highly successful and market leading business operating within the financial services industry, has approached the NET Recruit team to assist them on their search for an experienced Finance Systems Senior Manager, to join their growing and vital financialdepartment. With many of their core teamsgrowing, this business are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional to join their financial systems team, to oversee, maintain and develop the financial systems that are used daily across the entire finance department.
Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this role your duties may include but are not limited to:

- Supporting the Finance Systems Manager with technical work
- Acting as the Technical owner for all the Finance Systems and sub-modules used by the business
- Leading the team accountable for the technical development of the Finance Systems, managing the work carried out by the team
- Overseeing and having responsibility for the Audit process, to ensure that all queries are issued both internally and externally
- Ensuring that operations are adhered to within the risk framework used by the company
- Taking ownership of Business Continuity to ensure that a plan is in place and that disaster recovery tests are undertaken on the finance systems in place
What you will need to Apply:
For this senior technical role, the company are looking to hear from qualified or part-qualified accountants or people qualified by experience in systems development obtained in a Financial Services environment. Additionally you will need to hold a relevantIT or Programming qualification. To be successful, you'll need knowledge of Oracle Financials and Unit Pricing processes and procedures. As well of this, it is required you have an understanding of PL-SQL and of specialist tools such as TOAD, DATALOAD, orCore FTP. It is imperative that you also possess excellent communication skills and are able to effectively liaise with and manage senior stakeholders and executives within the business.
