Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a well-known brand to appoint an Intercompany Team Leader to their Glasgow office. Their finance function is ambitious, hardworking and highly successful at keeping their business operating smoothly.

The role reports to the Assistant Manager and represents a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to propel their career in a large business that offers significant progression opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for monitoring all time and efficiency targets and providing tailored support to meet these performance requirements, both qualitative and quantitative
- Performing monthly 1:1’s with the team, using all of the appraisal tools at your disposal
- Offering advice and developing team members, providing them with relevant skills to undertake their tasks more efficiently
- Finding areas for development to better your understanding, proposing new ways of working to management and ensuring effective controls are in place
- Evaluating the reporting of credit control data to see if improvements can be made
- Liaising with internal staff / credit control to ensure the adherence of policies, procedures and external regulations
- Recognising potential skill gaps in team members and arranging for additional up-skilling where needed

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- University degree is preferable but not critical for this role, depending on experience
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a strong knowledge of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss analysis
- Previous experience working in Financial Services management, insurance or equivalent would be a real benefit
- Experience of managing a team with outstanding attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Happy to multi-task and plan ahead, delivering and operating to strict deadlines whilst motivating others around you
- Eligible to work in the UK
