We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Engagement Officer who will be responsible for working with new stakeholders within the community. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships, whilst identifying and onboarding suitable learners of all ages onto employability and skills progression opportunities. The role will require flexibility and creativity, enabling you to help individuals overcome barriers to employment they may face. Using a person-centred approach, you will communicate effectively, understand unique needs, and engage in positive meaningful conversations.

Have a keen interest in making in making a difference and engaging with people. You will also need good IT and self-management skills. You will need to be personable and engaging and capable of building rapport and creating meaningful connections with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will need to possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks efficiently. You must display genuine enthusiasm while maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
**Requirements of the Role**
The role will require you to coordinate with new community stakeholders to establish and cultivate robust relationships. You will need to identify eligible learners from diverse age groups and backgrounds, enrolling them in employability and skills advancement initiatives.
You will deliver comprehensive information, advice and guidance (IAG) services to learners and stakeholders, addressing queries and resolving concerns.
The role will require you to collaborate closely with Community Job Coaches to align leaners with appropriate employment opportunities.
You must maintain consistent updates and transparent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring everyone remains well informed and engaged.
You will need to thoroughly verify eligibility and confirm the applicants meet entry requirements, ensuring adherence programme criteria.
You will have the opportunity to work from our local area office in the Birmingham office and within the community. The role will involve some travel across Birmingham and the Black Country to support the supported employment project development in this area.

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and learners.
- Identify and facilitate access to relevant qualifications for career sustainability and growth.
- Complete and manage both paper
- based and electronic learner forms efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with the entire team to share important communications and updates.
- Analyse and report on applicant and vacancy data, providing insights to inform decision making.
- Update spreadsheets and RM systems to ensure the data stored is current and accurately stored.
