Senior Housekeeper | Yorkshire Clinic

Right now we are looking for a Senior Housekeeper to join our busy Housekeeping department at The Yorkshire Clinic

The Role:
Under the Line management of the Housekeeping Manager this role is to deliver high standards of cleanliness, to ensure our cleaning standards are met and to support team members/managers. The role will involve cleaning Wards, Theatres and public areas to the required standards using the methods and materials outlined in the Housekeeping policies; and include Monitoring, and support the team to increase individual/team effectiveness.

Your duties will include:
Responsibility for the standard of cleanliness, safety and hygiene in all areas

Complying with all current Health & Safety and COSHH Regulations and to ensure the health, safety and enjoyment of all customers and visitors using our facilities

Maintain up to date relevant training

Be an excellent team player, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or within the team

Perform Housekeeping duties in line with work schedules, in assigned areas.

Oversee day to day housekeeping service, checking quality and directing staff rotas and workplans with the support of your Line manager

Promote and maintain high standards in accordance with policies and procedures.

Induction of new starters

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business

Demonstrated Customer Service skills

Good communication Skills

Be passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Attention to detail

Proven ability to work in a team or independently as required

Excellent organisation skills

Flexibility to ensure delivery of the service 7 days a week, 365 days per year

Negotiable salary dependent upon skills and qualifications + enhancements for unsocial
