**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Flexible UK & Ireland, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:

- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin.

**Salary**: Up to £56,400/€82,000 depending on experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As our Strategic Technical Planner, you will support development of challenging but achievable 1-5 year asset and operational plans for the Onshore Renewables fleet (Wind, Solar and Battery) taking into account internal and external factors that will impact asset integrity and performance over the period. You will also be responsible for programming strategic assessments across the fleet and bridging the gap between mid-term and short-term work scopes. A key aspect of the role is the ability to collate information from different teams and data streams into clear, optimised plans; communicating these plans effectively to stakeholders, tracking and reporting progress.

Key accountabilities may include:

- Working closely with the O&M, Lifecycle and Asset Standards teams, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and monitoring of Asset Management Plans, optimising strategic asset interventions and managing the flow from mid-term plans into in year work planning.
- Developing the planning framework for new sites being integrated into the fleet, consistent with the methodology used for existing sites and communicating this clearly with regional / site management as appropriate.
- Managing the programme for End-of-Life assessments for sites, on the basis of an established prioritisation criteria, to ensure resource and other constraints are appropriately accounted for.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience of Data Analysis, Planning and Reporting, preferably but not essentially within the Utilities, Process or Oil and Gas sector, other industries will be considered.
- Understanding of Engineering and Technical interactions with business performance.
- Knowledge of SHE Management Systems and capability to always ensure our safety principles at all times.
- Comfortable interacting with and presenting to a wide range of audiences, including Senior Management
