**Job Description HS/MN/CCC2**

**Job Title: Personal assistant**

**Hours per week: 3 hours 45 minutes per week, over variable days each week, will include weekend working.**

**Morning: 45 minutes**

**Evening: 30 minutes**

**Location: Colwyn Bay, Conwy**

**Rate of pay: £11.30 per hour**

**Closing date: 10/03/23**

**To support with morning and evening visits for a Gentleman to make sure he is comfortable and happy and has everything he needs for his day and night.**

Task and duties, to include any or all of the following:
On a morning shift:
Support with getting in and out of the shower

To support with getting washed and dressed

To support with breakfast preparation, and make sure he has lunch prepared

To make sure he has everything he needs for the day

On an evening shift:
To check in on him and support with preparing him for bed

Make sure that he has everything he needs for the nights such as a drink and has eaten

Make sure he has his urine bottle

Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.

Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

Personal Specification

Establish a professional standard of care which should be maintained at all times.

Respect and safeguard the goods and property of the family.

Respect the privacy of the family and uphold confidentiality at all times.

Be trustworthy and kind

Be punctual, reliable and have some degree of flexibility, with a view to possibly undertaking overtime.

Be enthusiastic and be open to new experiences.

Bear in mind that the role is one of empowerment for the service user.
