**Job Title: Customer and Sales Advisor (AA Signs)**

**Working Hours: Mon-Fri (36.25 hours per week)**

**Location: Basingstoke (flexible working)**

**Contract: Full Time/Permanent**

**This is the job**:
**What will I be doing?**:

- To work as part of a team dealing with members of the public and businesses to arrange the production and installation of temporary event signage on behalf of AA Signs.
- To make full use of the AA Signs core Signette IT system as trained; to ensure that at all times all relevant detail is accurately captured and recorded, including ‘event progress and information notes’ and to ensure that system housekeeping requirements are fully and consistently met.
- To make enquires with and to receive enquiries from customers in connection with jobs of work, detailing their requirements, liaison with local Signs Officers, producing timely quotations, making follow up enquiries, liaison with approval bodies, and when a quotation is accepted; to initiate the sign production process though the AA Signette IT system.
- To adhere at all times to current AA Signs Administration and Sales policy, its associated timescales and protocols to secure work.
- To ensure that customer retention is maximised at all times and if an event has been lost; to record the facts and process as per policy guidelines.
- To cover the absence of colleagues by dealing with all enquiries as far as practicable from the point of receipt.
- To perform any other task required by the sales manager that may be necessary in the interest of the AA Signs business.

**What do I need?**:
**Capability, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Experience working in a similar sales/admin/customer service role
- Good, clear communication skills; both orally and in writing
- Evidence of the ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic
- Good flexibility, the ability to deal effectively with conflicting demand and prioritise work accordingly
- Evidenced problem solving skills and experience in that context
- Good time management skills
- Good confident telephone manner
- Accurate and methodical
- Evidence of knowledge and experience of using Microsoft - Outlook, Word and Excel spreadsheets
- A proven track record for delivering customer service and meeting business targets
