**About The Role**:
We are seeking to appoint a **Learning Mentor** to join **The Portsmouth Academy **to support the social, emotional and mental health of our students. The role will include one to one and small group mentoring support to improve academic progress and learning by delivering a range of teaching and learning interventions to targeted pupils.

Under the direction of the Inclusion Provision Manager/SENCO, you will support students with the development of emotional literacy skills as well as providing curriculum support.

- You will have experience of working with young people to support their physical and mental wellbeing and will possess excellent written and communication skills.
- You will be educated to a minimum requirement of Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- You will be able to demonstrate that you can work as both part of a team and contribute to the effective organisation of the school with administrative support.
