We have an exciting new role for someone to join to ensure that the products and processes at Ocee & Four Design are fit for purpose and meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.

**Your main duties will include**:

- To coordinate the activities required to meet quality and environmental standards
- To monitor and advise on the performance of the quality and environmental management system, produce data and reports
- Establish and maintain a regular system of internal audits schedules, assist in carrying out internal and external audits and inspections in line with the audit programme to comply with the quality management system requirements and ensure the effectiveness of company processes and the management system itself
- Manage, plan and support the ISO audit program to promote continuous improvement in quality and environmental performance
- Ensure that customer complaints are validated and that corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively
- Liaise with managers and staff throughout the organisation to ensure that the quality and environmental management system is functioning properly
- Continually review existing procedures and working instructions to ensure they are up to date and effectively communicated to meet internal and external requirements and achieve best practice
- Promote quality management through the organisation through training and support
- Set QA and E compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved
- To work closely with purchasing team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
- Ensure our full compliance to standards and applicable legislation
- Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures
- Bring together staff from across different departments and drive the group towards the agreed quality and environmental objectives and procedures.
- Liaise with customer auditors and ensure the execution of corrective actions and compliance

**Experience we are looking for**:

- Highly proficient administrator
- Strong organisational skills are essential
- The ability to communicate, be comfortable speaking with a wide range of staff, customers and suppliers in person and by telephone, in writing and in meetings
- Demonstrable quality and environmental experience
- Manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage
- Environmental management qualification would be beneficial
- Experienced auditor in ISO9001 & 14001 or an in depth working knowledge of the systems
- Experienced in non-conformance, action planning and RCA investigations
- Ability to maintain awareness of wider business context

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
