We are recruiting for a** Male bank Support Worker **to support one gentleman who lives in his own home in the Crookston area of Glasgow. This is a lone working role, so we're looking for an experienced individual who is confident in their abilities and has previously supported individuals with autism and challenging behaviour.

We support this gentleman to live the best life possible by providing support with whatever he needs. He does struggle with change, so routine and structure are very important. He is very active in his community and loves going out for walks in the park, going out in the car and enjoying home cooked meals, though he requires support to make healthy meal choices.

Your main goal will be to provide the right support so he can be as independent as possible and is supported to make his own choices. You will also be responsible for ensuring his safety and security overnight.

As this gentleman likes to go out in the car everyday, the successful applicant must have a **UK manual driving license which they've held for over 12 months.**

**Your values**:
I like to be supported by people who respect me and my homes, but who also like to have fun

I like people who are reliable and honest, so I can build trust and know that you have my best interests at heart.

It’s important that you can communicate well with me and work well within our team to ensure my routines are maintained.

**A Place I belong**

Here at Community Integrated Care we aim to be a warm, welcoming and inclusive employer, where all colleagues feel they belong. We want to an organisation that is truly fair and equal to all - where individual diversity is valued, unique characteristics celebrated and everyone feels able to bring their true selves to work.

By encouraging and embracing a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, capabilities and viewpoints, we will build a stronger, richer, more vibrant workforce, which reflects the people we support, and the communities in which we work. It helps us make better decisions, bring fresh ideas and become a true provider and employer of choice.

We have a really clear plan to achieve this called A Place I Belong. This publicly sets out the promises we’ve made to achieving this vision and how we will hold ourselves to account to getting there. You can read more about this by clicking here.
