Job Title: Sales Consultant & Project Administrator (12-month maternity cover with possibility of permanent employment)

Working Hours: Full Time. Saturday show room cover will be required (generally once per month)

**Salary**: £25,000 (indicative)

Strathearn Stone and Timber are looking for a Sales Consultant & Project Administrator to join their busy office & showroom team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dynamic, customer focussed, confident and a motivated team player, with previous experience working in a sales facing and/or project administrative role.

What does the role entail?

The role is wide and varied between showroom & telephone sales consultation and project & business administration, to provide an exceptional professional customer experience. The main responsibilities include;
Sales Consultation Responsibilities
- Delivering exceptional customer service both in person and over the telephone.
- Liaising with clients to identify and define their flooring requirements.
- Providing advice and guidance to customers.
- Preparing and sending quotes, processing sales orders & invoices.
- Timely follow ups with customers and potential customers.
- Establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with key repeat business customers.
- Processing web sales.
- Preparing and sending product samples.
- Updating CRM system and internal business

Project Administrator Responsibilities
- Pro-actively liaise with the customer and/or their interior designer/architect/builder re project requirements, scope of works and timescales.
- Arrange site visits for our Install Team/Project Managers
- Regular communication with clients on their project progress, ensuring that all works by others have been carried out prior to our attendance onsite for installation.
- Preparing and sending estimates, processing sales orders & invoices.
- Preparing comprehensive site packs for our Install Team.
- Liaise with Logistics and customers regarding delivery arrangements.
- Efficiently communicate project timescales and updates with Project Managers.
- Provide assistance to the Project Managers on projects as and when required.

What are we looking for?
- Strong communication skills and previous experience in a customer focused environment.
- Experience in project administration or can demonstrate a driven attitude - seeing things through from conception to delivery.
- Solid organisational skills, including multi-tasking and time-management, to deliver results on-time.
- Strong client-facing and teamworking skills & experience.
- A great active listener.
- Solid current IT skills - proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and Sage Accounts or similar.
- A working knowledge of Quotewerks and Goldmine CRM system would be beneficial but not essential, as training will be given.
- Effective and accurate written and verbal communication.
- Work focussed attitude and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to use initiative to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
- Proactive attitude. Ability to spot things that need to be done and action on it.
- A positive approach with the flexibility to adapt to change.
- Working under mínimal supervision.
- Driving licence and own transport essential.

What next?

There will be an initial phone interview (approximately 10 minutes), followed by an in-person interview with department heads. The final interview will be with our Managing Director.
