Barnsley, United Kingdom South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

The Brief Intervention Service (BIS) is an exciting new Primary Care team within SWYT developed as part of the wider transformation of services. The aim and ethos of the team is to bridge the gap between primary and secondary services, promote joint collaborative working, allow easier access to intervention in a timely manner and enhance the patient journey.

Due to the success of the service, we are now able to offer several opportunities for band 6 practitioners to join the team. The role entails working with individuals whose needs can not be met by IAPT but who have been identified as needing a period of intervention not met within secondary care services. If necessary, onward referrals to secondary care will be made.

You will be working in a supportive team however you must be able to undertake lone working in community settings. We offer regular supervision and opportunities to develop professional skills.
