This post is open to a Nursing Associate who is wanting to work in an outstanding unit and broaden their skills in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities. We offer a fantastic Induction package from Livewell and in-house, which supports your development of core Nursing skills within an acute setting.

Harford has 19 male beds supporting patients with a range of diagnosis across the Mental Health and Learning Disability spectrum. Here at the Glenbourne we received an overall rating of outstanding, and we are one of only a few units of its kind to achieve this rating within the UK.

The unit was praised in particular for the compassionate care provided by staff, noting the 2015 mental health inpatient survey that rated nurses at the Glenbourne unit the highest in the country for treating patients with dignity and respect.

Our environment and organisation is supportive and driven to deliver quality, evidence-based patient care, we have a clear focus on Quality Improvement and Safe wards and strive to achieve a caring recovery focused environment and a supportive environment to develop in.
