**Role Overview**

We are seeking a passionate HR Advisor to join our friendly people team with a focus on providing comprehensive support to our colleagues on all employee relation matters. You will have sole ownership with support from the wider people team for employee relations and will support managers with full case management and administrative support on ER processes including suspensions, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, organisation design, consultations, TUPE and absence.

**Key Responsibilities**

As the HR Advisor, your key responsibilities will be
- To advise managers on best practice, owning all ER processes, up to point of appeal.
- To own and manage all ER cases.
- To design an ER training programme, ensuring all managers receive comprehensive ER training.
- To ensure that all company policies are up to date with legislation and amendments are cascaded to all.
- To cascade any legal updates to the relevant internal stakeholders.
- To establish a rapport with key stakeholders internally and externally, including the business ER solicitors.
- To contribute and assist with the delivery of the wider people team agenda.
- To support the wider people team delivering ad-hoc projects as and when required by the needs of the business.
- To aid and support to the people team during absence or high workloads, deputising for HR management.
- To assist with monthly and ad-hoc MI reporting.

**About You**

As a HR Advisor, you will ideally have the following skills and experiences:

- Passionate about People - Our People are our most important asset and our most highly regarded value at Citygate. We’re seeking someone who is a confident communicator and who will enjoy building trusted valued relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
- Eager to learn - Automotive experience is not essential for this role, as long as you're someone who is willing to learn about the industry in order to fulfil the requirements of the role
- CIPD Level 5 - accreditation is desirable, as well as experience managing employee casework from beginning to end, up to appeal stage.
- Full clean UK Drivers licence - Due to the nature of our business, it’s essential that the Employee Relations Advisor can travel to any of our 17 sites across greater west London and surrounding counties.
