**Location: Cambridge Road, Sefton**
**Salary - £25,466- £28,817, Permanent, Full time**
A vacancy has arisen within the Sefton area for a Careers Advisor within our NEET Reduction and Early Intervention Service and Our Education and Business Team ( working with schools) this is a split role 50/50%
This exciting opportunity will be to support the delivery of NR & EIS supporting young people Not in Education, Employment or Training or at Risk of NEET. Working in Sefton with a caseload of vulnerable young people providing bespoke IAG support and information (possibly SEN young people depending on experience). There is an increasing demand for activities relating to: raising aspirations, building confidence/resilience, employability, and the world of work - these will be included in the CA role in line with commissioning requirements. Including supporting transition, multi-agency working, career planning and assessment for NEET and Vulnerable Young People with complex needs, Children in Care/Care Experienced Young People, Young Offenders, young people with Special Educational Needs and the potential to attend annual reviews for young people with EHCplans.
The work will include the delivery of Careers Information, Advice and Guidance activities in schools/colleges to include one to one guidance Interviews and aspirational/motivational group work (both programme style and individual sessions).
Flexibility and adaptability are key requirements as the role will include delivery across a number of schools/colleges to support the requirements of contracts and funded projects.

**Qualification requirements**
Level 6 qualification in Careers, Advice and Guidance desired but would consider Level 4 IAG with at least one year experience with young people and willingness to complete L6 Qualification
