**Children & Family Social Work Practitioner**

Grade I/J

Salary £36,459 - £42,502 (which is inclusive of a 5% recruitment and retention allowance)

We have a full-time time Social Work opportunity for an experienced social worker to join the Children in our Care and Young People Service. You will need to be able to encourage, support and engage with children, young people, parents and carers to promote participation in all aspects of service delivery.

You will have experience of working in a statutory children and families social care setting in either safeguarding and/or working with looked after children & young people. Experience in assessment and analytical report writing is also essential.

You will have an understanding of child exploitation and be willing to take the lead on this across care, wellbeing and learning and will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills with partner agencies

A current driving licence and access to a car or means to mobility support is also an essential requirement of the post.
