Lovett Care is seeking an Host/Hostess to join our amazing team at Fairfax Manor Care Home. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in partnership with our team to deliver quality care for a diverse group of residents.

**This position is for 30 hours per week over 7 days at £11.15 per hour**

**Job Purpose**:
To offer residents, relatives and visitors a warm welcome in the Café and dining areas of Fairfax Manor. Providing refreshments and snacks to all in a welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring café, bar and kitchenette areas are fully stocked prior to serving of all refreshments and meals;
- Prepare and lay tables in dining areas;
- Prepare individual residents bedroom meal trays and serve;
- Assist in the service of pre luncheon aperitifs;
- Assist in clearing tables after meals;
- Cleaning all kitchenette areas;
- Checking sell by dates on consumables held within kitchenette areas;
- Serving of tea and coffee, drinks and snacks in afternoon and throughout the day;
- Preparing Hydration Station with water and juice in jugs, with glasses on trays for

lounges ensuring plentiful supply;
- Restocking of fruit and snacks in communal areas;
- Changing of water and juice jugs in resident bedrooms checking clean glass available;
- Complete charts and documentation to meet the needs of the business.
