- Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 and early finishes on Fridays

Our client, a leading Accident Repair Centre based in Manchester, is seeking an experienced Estimator/VDA to join their dynamic team. As a reputable establishment with a proven track record, our client provides top-notch repair services to a diverse range of vehicles. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and outstanding results.

**Key Responsibilities as a Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor**:

- Vehicle Damage Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of damaged vehicles, identifying repair requirements and providing accurate estimates for repair costs.
- Insurance Liaison: Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure smooth and timely processing of claims, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the process.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, explaining repair processes and estimated timelines, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
- Parts Sourcing: Source and price vehicle parts required for repairs, ensuring the use of high-quality and cost-effective components.
- Workshop Coordination: Work closely with the workshop team to schedule repairs, ensure timely completion of jobs, and maintain efficient workflow.

**Requirements for this Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor role**:

- Previous Experience: Prior experience as an Estimator/VDA within an accident repair centre is essential. While formal qualifications are not mandatory, a proven track record in the field is highly valued.
- Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, bodywork, and repair procedures, enabling accurate damage assessments and cost estimates.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with customers, insurance representatives, and the workshop team.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure precise damage assessments and estimates, minimizing any discrepancies.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, ensuring timely completion of assessments and repairs.
- Flexibility: Willingness to accommodate flexible shift times, as required by the client's needs.
