We are currently seeking an experienced Working Site Foreman to join our dynamic team and oversee the daily operations on our development sites.

**Job Summary**
The Working Site Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the construction workers on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality. This role requires hands-on involvement in the construction process, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to manage the workforce and liaise with the Senior Development team.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead and supervise a team of construction workers, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor the progress of work on-site.
- Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.

**Site Management**:

- Coordinate daily site activities and manage resources to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and address any issues promptly.

**Hands-On Work**:

- Participate in construction activities alongside the team, including but not limited to carpentry, concrete work, and general labour tasks.
- Operate tools and equipment as required, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.

**Communication**:

- Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any on-site issues.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and progress reports.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all work complies with the project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Address and rectify any deficiencies or defects in workmanship.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Experience - Several years’ experience within the construction industry (Minimum 5), with at least 3 years trade background in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in residential and commercial development projects.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Joinery and/or Bricklaying
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Certifications**:

- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Fire Marchall
- CSCS

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour
