Senior Event Planner - South West London - £35K-£45K (DOE)
This is a very exciting opportunity to join an Events company working with multiple high-end brands within London I am looking for experienced Event Planners who can come in and hit the ground running working on multiple projects directly with the clients to deliver the best events as per the clients requirements. You will be joining a tight knit team working on a range of events from weddings to brand/company events. This role will include occasional weekend/after hours work which you will get back in time in lieu.
I am looking for those with event catering experience. Junior Planners who are looking for the next step up will be suited for this position as well as Senior Planners who are looking for their next challenge
**Responsibilities**:
Liaise with clients to plan high-end events of all sizes
Manage each event from enquiry through to delivery
Attend all relevant meetings with clients and suppliers
Oversee booking and briefing for each event within the given budget
Book and organise all relevant logistics, parking, travel and uniform
Build relationships with new clients, venues an suppliers
Proactive and reactive to new sales enquiries
Assist with client budgeting process
Follow all seasonal catering foods closely - including London food trends/current affairs
**Skills**:
3+ years within event planning for event catering business/similar
Client facing
Budgeting experience
Venue and supplier negotiation experience
Interest in food seasonality/catering food trends
**Salary**: £35,000 - £45,000 + uncapped commission + benefits
**Location**: Based full time in the office in South West London
This role will suit Senior Event Planners with a drive to always exceed expectations. You will be passionate about development and striving to work within a challenging yet extremely rewarding environment.
