Bakery Operative

We require a bakery operative from Sunday - Thursday, 11:30am-Close.

Duties Include:

- Make Custard tarts from production list. Make the custard filling, fill the pre-made pastry shells from the chiller or freezer, top with Nutmeg and bake off.
- Make Curd tarts from production list. Using pre-made filling, fill the pre-made pastry shells from the chiller or freezer, and bake off.
- Bake off all Savouries from Production list. Tray up all savouries from frozen unbaked stock, bake off, ensuring core temperatures are reached, following relevant food safety procedures.
- Monitor provers to ensure dough products rise to correct sizes and remove from prover.
- Bake off all dough products, monitoring regularly to ensure products are not over or under baked.
- Move all baked products to the relevant cool down areas, once cooled set up working area with the racks in correct areas to enable efficient packing.
- Packing of shop or customer orders from packing arrays.
- Packing of Racks of teacakes into Polybags 8’s and 6’s.
- Cleaning of work areas, desk and equipment.
- Report any equipment damage or anomalies immediately to a manager.
- Report any Low stocks of Materials and/or Packaging.
- Assist in development of new products and make any trial products on request.
- Any other reasonable request from a manager or director.

Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
