Bakery Operative

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will assist in the production and preparation of baked goods, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious baked goods. Responsibilities: - Assist with the production and preparation of various baked goods, such as bread, pastries, and cakes - Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes - Operate baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters - Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection - Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or other toppings - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area - Adhere to food safety standards and follow HACCP guidelines - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation - Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production goals Skills: - Mechanical knowledge to operate baking equipment effectively - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures - Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines - Strong understanding of food production processes - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately Join our team as a Bakery Assistant and be part of a dynamic bakery environment where your skills will be valued. Pay: £20,000.00-£20,500.00 per year
