An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as the Energy Management - Energy Monitoring Officer/Assessor.

The Energy Monitoring Officer/Assessor will be the principal point of contact for the Energy Management team to arrange and attend client sites to fulfil our requirements to delivery “Commercial Energy Performance Certificates” (CEPC) and “Display Energy Certificates” (DEC) including when applicable the required advisory reports.

This is a permanent full-time role based at Entrust HQ, Riverway, Stafford reporting to the Energy Consultant Team Leader.

Energy Monitoring Officer/Assessor

**What you’ll do**:

- Maintain and update register of clients who are purchasing the Display Energy Certificate (DEC) SLA and ensure relevant reminders are set to identify when renewals are required.
- Arrange and attend site visits were required to undertake survey of properties and if required to arrange access to energy consumption data.
- Work in conjunction with the Energy Management - Data Analyst to ensure incoming data sources are uploaded and pre-validated in the System Link portal in line with agreed priorities.
- Provide operation support to ensure the Energy Management team meet their obligations to clients who purchase the Building Management Support SLA.
- Identify and recommend improvements to the System Link portal and provide this this feedback to Energy Management - Data Analyst who will work on the implementation of this improvement suggestion.
- Attend meetings and events to identify new technologies that are being introduced into the market that will help clients implement their net zero objectives, e.g., solar, battery storage and alternative heating solutions
- Identify and prepare prioritised Energy Management projects, providing objective, rational supporting data for the development of Capita Investment Plans, the preparation of bids for capital funding and support the management of school-based Energy related projects.
- Proactively manage and champion property issues.

**What you’ll need to bring**:

- HNC or Degree in engineering or a related discipline
- Experience of Auto CAD, and Understanding of Feed in Tariffs (FIT), Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Heat Metering.
- Experience of working on BMS
- Working knowledge of System Link software and OR Calc.
- Excel skills & working knowledge of other MS Office packages.
- Ability to work on own initiative or within a team to tight timescales.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work with various ICT programmes.
- Experience of working in or directly with schools.
- A good record of attendance at work.
- Eye for detail.
- Ability to use initiative.
- A customer focused can do approach.
- A flexible attitude to work.
- Commitment to personal and professional development of self and colleagues.
- To be able to cope in high pressure situation
